The three time world champion Fernando Montiel (46-4 36 KO´s) and the dangerous indonesian fighter (25-6 14 KO´s) both made 124.5 pounds on the scale. They promised an exciting battle to 10 rounds in the superbantamweight division.
In the semifinal fights the former world champion "Sammy" Gutiérrez (30-7 21 KO´s) will be clashing against Carlos "Bad Boy" Ruiz (11-1 7 KO´s) and Jorge "The Devil" Cota (13-0 13 KO´s) will confront Francisco Madrigal (10-2 8 KO´s).
